Ingredients

 

For the cake:
  • 175 g butter
  • 100 g dark chocolate
  • 300 g flour
  • 390 g powdered sugar
  • 80 g cane sugar
  • 0.5 cup cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3 eggs
  • 200 ml yogurt
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 100 ml of hot water

For the filling:

  • 200 ml cream

  • 400 g cream cheese

  • 60 g powdered sugar

  • 300 g chocolate

For the topping:

  • 25 g dark chocolate

    Additionally:

    • Butter, flour and cocoa for the baking tins

     

    preparation
    1. Preheat oven to 175°C.
    2. Prepare baking pans:
      • Grease three baking pans with butter
      • Mix flour and cocoa and sprinkle baking tins with it
    3. Prepare cake batter:
      • Chop the chocolate and melt it with butter
      • Assemble the Ankarsrum with the mixing bowl and the whisk
      • Mix flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda and salt
      • Whisk eggs and yogurt
      • Add dry ingredients and melted chocolate butter
      • Quickly stir in boiling water
    4. Bake:
      • Pour the dough into the baking pans
      • Bake on the middle rack for about 15 minutes
      • Remove the baking pans and let the cake cool completely
    5. Prepare the filling:
      • Chop and melt the chocolate for the filling
      • Assemble the Ankarsrum again with the mixing bowl and whisk
      • Whip the cream lightly
      • Add cream cheese and powdered sugar to the cream
      • Add melted chocolate while stirring
    6. Assemble the cake:
      • Spread the filling evenly over the cake layers
      • Chop the remaining chocolate and sprinkle over the top
