"Janssons Frestelse" is a delicious Swedish potato gratin that is perfect for the festive season. With tender potatoes, aromatic onions and hearty anchovies, this dish brings a touch of Scandinavian tradition to your table.

Ingredients
- 800 g potatoes
- 2 onions
- 250 g anchovies + anchovy brine
- 300 ml cream
- 150 ml milk
- 40 g breadcrumbs
- 75 g salted butter
- salt & pepper
preparation
- Preheat the oven to 200 °C.
- Assemble the Ankarsrum with the vegetable cutter and the disc drum.
- Cut the onions into slices.
- Replace the disc drum with the middle grating drum.
- Grate the potatoes. Fry the onion in a pan.
- Grease the baking dish with butter and add potatoes, onion, anchovies, salt and pepper in three layers one after the other, finishing with a layer of potatoes.
- Mix milk, cream, anchovy brine and pepper and pour over the gratin.
- Add the breadcrumbs and then cut the butter into thin pieces and add.
- Bake in the oven for about 40-50 minutes.
